Over the past 28 years, I’ve built a career rooted in hard work, curiosity, and a deep commitment to helping people and organizations navigate complex legal challenges.

I began my journey as a litigator at a law firm, where I honed my skills in advocacy and dispute resolution. For the next 23 years, I served as in-house counsel across three companies—including eight years as General Counsel—working closely with executive leadership, HR teams, and employees at every level.

Today, I specialize in three key areas:

• Mediation and Conflict Resolution
• Workplace Investigations
• Workplace Training & Employment Practices

In each of these, I partner with client teams and individuals to address issues at the
heart of labor and employment law. My work is grounded in a diverse skill set that
includes problem solving, negotiation facilitation, analytical thinking, fact-finding, clear communication, active listening, risk assessment, and objectivity.

My goal is always the same: to guide individuals and organizations from conflict to resolution and use meaningful learning to foster growth.

I grew up in a small town in Ohio, the daughter of a P.E. teacher and a small business owner. From an early age, I was drawn to learning and sports—both taught me discipline, resilience, and the value of teamwork. I first felt the pull toward law in high school, and that spark led me to California, where I began my legal career at a large firm in San Francisco.

After five formative years there, I took a leap in 2002 and stepped into my first in-house counsel role. Over the next 23 years, I served as in-house counsel for three different companies, including eight years as General Counsel for a packaging company. In that role, I worked closely with the C-suite, HR professionals, front-line teams, and customer-facing employees—gaining a deep appreciation for how law intersects with people and business at every level.

Recently, I made my boldest move yet: starting my own business. It’s the culmination of decades of experience, a lifelong love of learning, and a passion for helping people navigate challenges and learn from them.

Throughout my career, I’ve specialized in labor and employment law and have also
managed a wide range of commercial disputes. My approach is grounded in three core values:
